Sankofa’s Choice is a Baltimore-based nonprofit

committed to restoring dignity, stability, and healing for

youth experiencing trauma, sudden removal from their

homes, or involvement with the child welfare and justice

systems. We meet young people at their most vulnerable

moments with our Go Kits—providing essentials, comfort,

and dignity when everything else feels uncertain.

Beyond crisis support, we are building toward school

based trauma-informed healing services and a restorative

residential model designed to disrupt the school-to-prison

pipeline. Our work centers compassion, healing, and

opportunity—because every young person deserves more

than survival. They deserve to feel seen, supported, and

equipped to thrive.
